Hello, welcome to Astrology Alchemy. I'm Sheila Bélanger, your host for this podcast. Alchemy is defined as a seemingly magical process of transformation. Spiritual alchemy is the process of pursuing the gold of your true nature. By transmuting the unrefined limiting parts of yourself. In this podcast, I'll offer you inspiring insights from current astrology cycles that support your path of turning your personal lead into gold. More resources are available at the website on the edges of change.com. Welcome to episode number 330 of the Astrology Alchemy Podcast. This is for the week of September 15th, 2025, and I'm your host and guide, Sheila Bélanger. Here's a phrase from this week's podcast poem:"take a small step, you can call your own." So giving you a little overview here, we approach the second eclipse of this cycle, a new moon, solar eclipse in Virgo this week, framed by Saturn's ongoing lessons as it ends its journey in Pisces. This week is definitely a threshold moment. What has been released now makes space for what must be planted. This week is alive with relational tension, deep healing themes and mental shifts that prepare the ground. So please be very kind to yourself. Pace yourself. Count to 10. Think of this week as an initiation. The cosmos is rearranging old patterns, so you can enter a new level of discernment. Clarity and alignment, and my goodness, do we need that in our world right now? Not just personally, but collectively. The New Moon Virgo Eclipse clears illusions and asks for discernment, humility, and service. As this eclipse cycle portal closes, you are invited to carry forward Saturn's teachings. Releasing the past with compassion and stepping into a future shaped by clarity and authenticity. That is the aspiration. On September 15th and 16th, Venus and Mars activate Chiron. Venus. The relational one is an archetype, is in Leo. And it sextiles Mars, the action taker in Libra, it just means they're 60 degrees away from each other. It's a harmonious connection. Then Venus trines, Chiron, the asteroid Comet, who is the wounded healer archetype. Well, Mars opposes Chiron. So that's a couple sentences of a lot of Astro babble, I say with love and appreciation. Let's step down to what it means in English. Whenever Venus is active in a cycle, we are called to be more in attune with our relationship patterns inside and out our core values. What is a value to us? What's worth spending our precious life on? When Mars is active, we are in tune with our holy yang that wants to get going, that wants to dynamically make something happen. And when we are connected to Chiron, the archetype of the wounded healer or the shamanic one, there is a huge invitation to slow down and work with some old wound material, whether it's ours or ancestors or our worlds in a healthy way. So all of these big cycles happening this week with Venus and Mars and Chiron really help you focus on relationships and desires. That's Venus and Mars. They come under a deeply healing spotlight. The alignments of these planets symbolically stir old wounds, but also offer creative pathways to restore balance and vitality. And part of the journey with these archetypes this week is to notice what are old wound painful patterns. Especially the patterns with Chiron in Aries where you feel like you can't be true to yourself or you can't take the action you need to take and to recognize. Whenever chiron's at play, many times we're being asked to acknowledge where we are unconsciously carrying ancestral pain, unmetabolized ancestral trauma. Collective trauma doesn't mean that we don't need to do our part to shift and heal, but we don't need to overwhelm ourselves, and we certainly don't need to unconsciously try to do a rescue operation to heal our ancestors. We can love them through our own actions and our own awareness. They have their own karma. Take your part of the ancestral lineage that is yours to work and heal and bless the ancestors to complete their part. That takes some courage. Mars, what's mine to carry? What's not mine to carry? And above it all, because Venus is also so active with this set of cycles, I think of, beloved spiritual teacher, Angles Arrien. She would often say how do you connect to the good, true, and beautiful of the ancestors beneath the wounds? So here's a reflection for this set of cycles this week. How can you approach relationship or desire this week as an opportunity for healing rather than repeating old patterns? And then on September 17th and 18th, we have Mercury Cross Currents, mercury, the storyteller, communicator, archetype, very much connected to our mind and our narratives. It opposes Saturn, the responsible one, and then it enters a new sign, Libra, and immediately opposes Neptune, the Dreamer in Aries. Well, at the same time, it's in what's called a trine to Uranus, the Maverick, and Pluto the transformer. Whoa, that was a lot of astrology. Okay, so take a breath. It's essentially saying the one in you that creates story and narrative and ideas is having some very powerful links with a grounded one. Saturn a Dreamer, mystic, Neptune. A Maverick awakener, Uranus, and a deep transformer, a systemic transformer Pluto. So dear ones in the this time period, the middle of this week, pay attention to what's happening in your mind, because there's a lot of activity of transformation. The storyteller in you is stretched across a wide field between responsibility and imagination. Structure and disruption, endings and transformation. This is a moment of truth telling, refining how you communicate with yourself and others and aligning your words with deeper realities. Its a fine week to be doing your meditation practice or your quiet reflection practices for all of these cycles. Here's one reflection to be with. What conversation inner or outer needs, both honesty and imagination to unlock new possibilities? It continues. It's an extraordinarily full week, September 19th and 20th, Venus and the sun test boundaries. just on the edge of the Equinox, which is coming early next week venus, the relational one enters Virgo, a deeply grounded, pragmatic, earth sign, healing sign, and then when it does quickly squares. Uranus, the Maverick in Gemini, the Sun in Virgo, also opposes Saturn, the responsible one in Pisces. This is an invitation to step beyond your comfort zones. Venus in Virgo wants clarity and discernment with love and values. Uranus, the Maverick asks for freedom and innovation. How do you bring those together? And then the sun in the grounded healing sign of Virgo faces Saturn the responsible one, and reminds you to meet responsibility without shrinking what is yours to do, especially emotionally, energetically, Saturn in Pisces. Here's a good reflection for you. Where are you being asked to grow up without giving up to take responsibility, without losing heart? So let those questions, that questions, support you with these set of cycles. And then finally, on September 21st, we have the new Moon solar eclipse in Virgo. This is at 29 degrees of Virgo, the last degree of the Virgo sign, and it is opposite Saturn and Neptune, and it is trining, Uranus, and Pluto. So much like the mercury cycle we talked about earlier this week, this archetype. Of the sun and Moon together, the New Moon seeding a new way forward for the next month has this integration in bringing in the responsible one, the dreamer, the Maverick, and the Transformer. This is a potent new beginning, but not the easy kind. Virgo eclipses dissolve illusions. Clear away what's not aligned and ask you to plant seeds of discernment and service that will bear fruit over the next six months. Because this eclipse has such a strong activity with what we call the outer planets, especially the three most outermost planets, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, there is definitely a collective beyond the individual transpersonal. Energy to this. So as you dream into and will look at how to have a more aligned, authentic life during this seeding with the eclipse, ask yourself also, what might that life look like if it was in service to the Great Turning, that phrase from Joanna Macy about the times we're in: turning away from a life destructive societal dominator culture. Destroying nature. Human relationship resources. Great Turning to a life-giving society and way of being. So you might consider what kind of authentic aligned healing life. What I live into now, if I was hoping to serve the great turning in some way. So this new moon solar eclipse closes the portal opened by the Pisces Full moon eclipse two weeks ago. In this time, notice what has dissolved, what has clarified, and what is asking to be borne through you. This is a turning of a cycle. Let it work through you with humility and courage. So you get to start over with a Virgo new Moon Eclipse, and Virgo wants wholeness alignment. It wants to support you to be who you are in your own form, in your own way, in your own expression of your being. So this poem comes to support you with that. It's called Start Close In by David White. So notice where you're being nudged by your inner wisdom. Take this step. Just one step. Align with the energy, the new Moon, releasing the past what you can, and be right on the edge of the equinox coming, that point of perfect balance. And for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere marking the shift more towards the darkness and the letting go. Those of my audience in the Southern hemisphere, you're in the edge of going closer into the light Regardless of where your being is, may you feel deeply supported, guided, and nourished by these cycles.
